Artist Biography

Don Packwood

Don Packwood enjoys a well-established reputation as one of the world's finest automotive artists. He has exhibited throughout New Zealand and the United Kingdom, specifically at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and in Melbourne, at the invitation of the Australian Motorsport Artists. He is a life member of the Bruce McLaren and Possum Bourne Trusts and has affiliations worldwide with motorsport collectors. Don has painted in oils from the age of eight. Specializing in later years in motorsport subjects.

Don is a totally self taught artist. A life-time of painting, travel to racing circuits throughout the world, an inherited mechanical engineering background and a true passion for his subject are some of the ingredients of his success.
