Kasey Sealy

B. 1961, Forbes NSW, Australia

Kasey Sealy is a prominent Australian impressionist, internationally recognised for his plein air oils and watercolours. He comes from a family of artists and has been painting since he was 17 years old. Well-versed in the techniques of traditional oil painting, he captures light and atmosphere with a sensitivity that elevates his work beyond the ordinary.

Kasey is widely travelled and spends several months each year teaching and painting in Europe, particularly Italy and more recently on the Greek Island of Hydra. Based in the Tuscan hilltop town of Lucignano, his tutorials and classes are attended by students worldwide.

Kasey has exhibited throughout Australia, featured in several solo exhibitions at the Piano Nobile Gallery, London and been represented at major London Art Fairs, such as Olympia. Publications include Light & Atmosphere and Learn to Paint: Visions in Oils. Since 2016 he has been represented in New Zealand by International Art Centre with annual group and solo exhibitions.
